Year 4 continued their study of Extreme Earth with a visit to the Natural History Museum. The class participated in a presentation about earthquakes and volcanoes. They were given a chance to demonstrate what they have learned this term, as well as an opportunity to discover new facts about these fascinating natural disasters. Following the presentation, students were able to explore the “Red Zone” of the museum, where they read about earthquakes and volcanoes, looked at photos and experimented with the hands-on activities, including a simulated earthquake. The class is looking forward to the next class trip in just a few weeks!
