Class 4 had a lovely morning in the creativity room this morning. We did two different pieces of art that are linked to our new topic: Wild Weather, Extreme Earth.
Our first was to practise our collage skills by making a collage of a continent of the world. Some of the continents were a bit easier to do that others! We worked really hard to use tiny pieces of paper and then lay them over the other pieces to create our collage.
The other activity was inspired by Claude Monet’s work. We looked at some of his watercolours where the sky was filled with detail to show the weather, and then tried to re-create our own versions. Some of us did a second one, creating a sky with lots of detail like Monet, and then adding in the London skyline.
