On Wednesday Year 5 visited Marylebone 6th Form Science laboratories to carry out practical science investigations relating to their last topic, ‘Materials’.

They had a great time watching materials foam, burn and produce interesting smells – all in the name of studying reversible and irreversible changes!

In groups, Year 5 had the task of unearthing dinosaurs frozen in ice. They had to independently find the quickest method for defrosting them and working as a team, plan and carry out their investigation and record their results.

A messy, fun and educational time was had by all.
