This year, we set off on foot with both Year 4 and Year 6, wrapped up warm and full of excitement. As we left school, it even started snowing which made the whole morning feel extra magical, even if it was a little cold and wet!
When we arrived, we were greeted by the buzzing Winter Wonderland atmosphere and could not wait to begin exploring. We made a beeline for some of our favourite rides from when we last visited in Year 3. Snow Jet was a firm favourite again, so much that we went on for a second time as our final ride of the day!
This year, we also tried out a fantastic range of new attractions. The Yeti ride was a huge hit and the fun houses gave us lots to laugh about. The dodgems were such great fun, as was the haunted house too. Of course, the big ice slide made a return and the legendary Wilde Maus XXL blew lots of us away!
Even though it was cold and rainy, it did not dampen our spirits at all. We had a brilliant day from start to finish and felt very lucky to have shared the experience with our friends.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Winter Wishes for inviting us once again and an enormous thank you to Miss Carruthers for organising such a wonderful trip. We are also incredibly grateful to all of the adults who came along to help. It really made the day.
Thank you, Year 5, for being so cheerful, enthusiastic and wonderful to spend the day with.
What was your favourite part of the trip and why, Year 5?
THIS WAS SO FUN!!! We got to go in and on funhouses, rides and A HUGE rollercoaster! Thank you so much for organising this, it was the BEST DAY EVER!
I loved the Wilde Maus XXL because we kept on screaming and there was such big drops and the photos were really funny!
Thank you to Miss Carruthers and all the teachers who came and helped us and kept us safe!
I really hope we can do this again!
This was a really fun trip! My favourite ride was the Wilde Maus XXL. When we had finished the ride, we went down to look at our photos and some of them were truly hilarious!
