Year 6 had so much fun on World Book Day! Seeing all the fabulous costumes (can you guess which characters we all are?) and finding out about everyone’s favourite books was really exciting. Our book-theme for the week was ‘The Witches’ by Roald Dahl and we very much enjoyed studying this hilarious, scary story. We wrote Handbooks for Witchophiles in English and used our knowledge of fractions, decimals and percentages to create our own witches’ potions in Maths. At the end of World Book Day, some of our family came in to share books with us. Well done, everyone.
