This week St Vincent’s were represented at the Years 3 and 4 Sports Hall Athletics and we did extremely well coming in 5th place out of 13 Westminster schools taking part!
There were lots of events and everyone did three events each so we needed a big team: 12 boys and 12 girls. Running events included 1 lap and 2 lap relay races, obstacle course relays, over and under relays and hurdles. We had many victories and top three placings!
The field events included standing long jump, standing high jump, 5 strides, speed bounce, chest push and soft javelin. Once again we had many victories across all the disciplines and we are extremely proud of every member of the St Vincent team. Not only did we compete but we demonstrated excellent sportsmanship throughout and it was wonderful to see how supportive we were of each other! Well done St Vincent’s, you did us proud!
