As you know, we have been busy preparing for the St. Vincent’s Parents’ Association Annual Auction!

This year we are working hard to improve our school kitchen, which is tiny! The plan is to extend the current kitchen into a redundant corner of the hall, and re-purposing some office space, whilst utilising an existing cupboard as additional storage for the kitchen. Our kitchen team do an amazing job of preparing over 200 freshly cooked meals each day, but to a limited menu due to the confines of the space. Extending the kitchen will improve the working conditions of the dedicated team and enable us to provide a more varied nutritious food offering for our pupils. We have applied for a grant for the building works but this does not cover the full costs and we will then need to purchase new equipment and fittings. School budgets continue to be very limited so we rely additional funds to supply essential academic resources such as textbooks.  We also ensure that every pupil experiences the full cultural capital with a range of exciting trips, workshops and visitors including with artists and authors.

The auction will be held on Friday 12th June 2026 and we do hope you can join us.

Before then there is LOTS of work to do and we need everyone to help please. This morning we had a great turn out for the school tour followed by a productive SVPA meeting and are so pleased that there are additional volunteers to help to share the workload. Please do help in any way you can!

If you, or anyone you know, if able to make a donation to the auction please do complete the relevant certificate of promise below. the closing date is Friday 8th May.
