This term, we’ll be learning all about the Anglo Saxons and Vikings!
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be finding out who the Anglo Saxons were and what life was like in Britain after the Romans left. We’ll explore their settlements, farming, stories and kingdoms, learn about Alfred the Great and discover how Anglo Saxon England became a Christian country. We’ll also investigate the fascinating Sutton Hoo discoveries before finding out who the Vikings were, why they invaded Britain and what impact they had.
