  1. I learned how many times I will forgive my friends and family, which is 77 times. Jesus is a role model of forgiveness that I will copy. I also learned that saying sorry is respecting each other and is a kind thing to do.

  2. We all make mistakes, but we should still love and show kindness to one another.

  3. “If somebody do us wrong we should forgive them and showing them kindness”

  4. This Wednesday Word is forgiveness. The word that stood for me is ‘begged’ because it shows how strongly the servant did not want to go to prison. Forgiveness means to me that someone is being really kind, helpful and loving.

  5. “Being generous at sharing our stuff and don’t be envy on nobody”

  6. This week’s Wednesday Word is generous. God wants us to be generous like him. I can be generous by sharing my toys with others.

  7. This week’s Wednesday word is generous. In the gospel Jesus says to his disciples ‘ the kingdom of heaven is like a land owner going out on a daybreak to hire workers for his vineyard . Then, her makes them an agreement of one denarius a day. In the evening her pays the workers their wages but they complain. The landowner says ‘ My friends I am not being unjust to you have we not agreed on 1 per day’ This means that heaven operates on generosity and not reward. Sometimes you should do something and not expect something in return.

  8. The wednesday word is Generous, it means that God gives his love without counting, and equally, this show that we are all equal. God wants us to be as generous as possible with everyone remembering his example. He also wants us to show this example to other people.

This week’s Wednesday word is Generous. In the Gospel the workers and landowner all agreed to pay the 1 denarius each. Later, other workers were hired and they were all still got paid 1 denarius. The first workers got annoyed because they were working longer.

This Gospel teaches us that we shouldn’t ask for more but be greatful for the things we have.

  10. This weeks Wednesday word is generous. We can be generous by always
trying to share our things like Jesus would want us to.

  11. Generous means we should share, and listen, give, and loving one another, and help plants, and being pleased for others.!

  12. This weeks Wednesday word is Generous- God wants us to be generous, because he did it and would like us to follow him. I will be generous by spending time with other people and helping people in need.

  13. I will be generous and help the new people in our class and play with them.

This week’s Wednesday word is GENEROUS. In the Gospel Jesus teaches us about a landowner who goes out and hires workers for his vineyard. At the end of the day they each get paid one denarius and the first workers to get hired get annoyed that even the people who came much later got paid the same as they did, and they had worked all day. The lesson of this story is to be grateful for what you have, to count your blessing’s.

  15. This week’s Wednesday word is GENEROUS .In the bible, Jesus tells us to be kind and helpful because one of the king’s servants, owed him a lot of money and he couldn’t pay (the king I mean, by “him”) and the king even cancelled the debt instead of just waiting. Meanwhile, the other servant (one of the other servants) on the other hand, another servant owed him a lot of money as well, but, he couldn’t pay either. But instead of cancelling the debt, the other servant threw him in prison and because of that, the king threw the other servant in prison as well, and because of his behaviour, he was killed.

This weeks Wednesday word is GENEROUS. The passage (the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard) teaches that true generosity is about grace, compassion, and kindness, rather than strict fairness or keeping score.I think that generosity goes beyond what is earned. The landowner pays everyone the full daily wage, even those who only worked for a single hour. This shows that generosity isn’t just about rewarding hard work; it is about providing what people need.In this story, the workers who labored all day became upset because they compared themselves to others. The story teaches that we shouldn’t be envious when someone else receives a blessing or kindness. By treating the latecomers the same as the early workers, the story shows that everyone has immense value, no matter when they joined or how long it took them and that everyone should be treated with the same love and equality as each other.I can be generous by doing things such as offering to help someone if they are stuck with there work or letting someone borrow my stationary if they need to use it. I can also look out for classmates who might be sitting alone at lunch or standing by themselves during break time, and invite them to play or chat. When you are trying to be generous, you don’t need to always give things that are items to people but instead, you can give them something even greater which is kindness.

  17. This week’s Wednesday word is generous. God wants to be generous toward others because he always been generous with everyone.

  18. Some times your friends can make you sad but you can always forgive them.

This week’s Wednesday Word is Generous. In the Gospel, Jesus uses a parable to explain generosity. There was a landowner who hired workers to cut vines and he would pay the workers. The landowner hired them throughout the day and at the end of the day, they all got the same amount.

This is just how God’s Love works. He loves us all the same no matter what we do. We can be generous too by sharing your time, helping others such as new classmates and talk to someone in need.

  20. This week Jesus inspired me to try my best to be generous and helping others as much as I can.

  21. Alexandra Y6 says:

This weeks Wednesday word is GENEROUS. Being generous means to give or share something more than necessary or expected.
In the Gospel, Jesus tells a parable about a landowner who went out to find some workers for his vineyard. He hired the workers and made an agreement to pay them one denarius a day. He kept hiring workers until the end of the day. At the end of the day, he payed all of them one denarius, even though some of them had just started working. The ones who were working from the very start were angry because they had been paid the same as those who had just started working. They told the landowner but he told them not to be jealous because of his generosity.
This Gospel shows us that we are all open to God,no matter when we come to him.

  22. This week’s word is GENEROUS. In the Gospel, Jesus described heaven as fair and loveable. The landlord paid everyone who worked in his vineyard one denarius even for the people who worked more hours than some others. Jesus taught us to be generous even to people who do less for you.

  23. Aldrin Y5 (: says:

This week’s Wednesday Word is Generous. In the Gospel, Jesus told his disciples that the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner going out at daybreak to hire workers for his vineyard. He made an agreement with the workers for 1 denarius each day, then sent them to the vineyard.

This taught me to be more generous.

  24. The workers who joined first were jealous because they thought it was unfair on them to give everyone the same share. But the vineyard owner showed them that love is not about fairness. It is about being generous and not about just being kind because you want people to like you more.

  25. So if you are mean you can change by saying sorry so that the person is happy and see if they are ok and become friends. We can ask God to help us! And if they are ok you can play with. your friends.

  26. God will forgive us if we want to change.

  27. The Wednesday word is Change.
Humans make mistakes but this story which Jesus taught his disciples shows that it is never too late to turn back to God and as he asks.Sometimes people consider it weak to change their minds but it takes a strong person to admit to themselves that they have done the wrong thing.

  28. This Week’s Wednesday word is Change. In the the gospel 2 people were asked the same question. The first one responded no but later decided to go. The other one said yes but didn’t actually do the job. From this Gospel teaching, we should know that even if we don’t do it, God always gives us a second chance to forgive.

  29. This week Wednesday word is CHANGE. Jesus shares a story about a father and two sons. The father asked the first son to work in his vineyard but he refuses. Later on the son changed his mind and went to the vineyard to work. Next, the father asks the second son if he would work in the vineyard and he politely agreed. After a while, the son never came. Then Jesus asked, which son obeyed and they replied ‘the first one’. This teaches us that changing your mind to do what is right and letting your action match your choice is much more important than making a promise just to please someone and breaking it. It also teaches us that actions speak louder than words and that we should be trying to be more like the first son and make the right choice by doing the right action even if you didn’t say you were going to to do it at first. You should change your mind to do the right decision. Being honest is better than pretending just to please. Jesus teaches us that even if you make the wrong choice at first, you can still redeem yourself by changing your mind to do what is right. Actions matter more than an empty promise. God will always give us a second chance no matter what.

This Wednesday Word is about change.

This is a story about a father who had two sons. He asked both of them to go and work in his vineyard. The first son said “no” at first, but after thinking about it, he changed his mind and went to help. The second son said “yes” right away and promised he would go — but he never actually went at all.

This teaches us that change is always possible, and what we do matters more than what we say. The first son might have seemed like he was being disobedient at the start, but the most important thing is that he changed his heart and did what was right. It shows us that it does not matter if we make mistakes or say the wrong thing at first — we can always turn around, change our minds, and choose to do better. God is always happy when we try to improve.

It also teaches us that saying we will do something is easy, but actually doing it is what really counts. The second son sounded perfect because he said “yes” straight away, but his words were empty because he did not follow through. We should not just say we will be good — we should show it through our actions, every single day.

Every new day is a fresh chance to change. We can be kinder, more helpful, more loving, and more obedient. It is never too late to start again, to say sorry, and to do what is right. Jesus wants us to know that no matter who we are or what we have done, we can always change and grow closer to God.

  31. This week’s Wednesday word is change. I will change by being more patient when someone is using something and I want to use it.

  32. Alexander Y6 ;) says:

This week’s Wednesday Word is CHANGE. In the gospel, Jesus tells the disciples a parable of a man and two sons. He asked the first son to work in his vineyard but the son refused and later he went to the vineyard. The man asked the second son who agreed to work but in the end, he abandoned his father and did not keep his promise. We should be more like the first son and listen to God and FOLLOW Him, even if you do not want to.

To show a change, maybe give up your time for other family members instead of doing your own thing. You can also even do something like: cleaning the living room, doing your homework and reading instead of wasting your time. I can make a change by helping people who feel down instead of just sitting alone. We can all make a change by trying our hardest to do not what we want, but what is right for us.

  33. This week’s Wednesday Word is change. God always put us in front of different choices but it is up to us to choose the right thing to do. Although we might decide to make in first instance not the best choice we have always the opportunity to change our mind.

  34. This week’s Wednesday word is CHANGE we learn about a man who had two sons and told one go out and work in the vineyard. The son said no but then later changed his mind and went. The man asked the other son and he said yes but did not go. Jesus then asks “which did the will of his father”. The chiefs who he was talking to said the first one. This parable teaches us that God gave us free will so it is up to us o do the right thing.

  35. This weeks Wednesday word is CHANGE.This passage teaches that God’s forgiveness is infinite, and because he forgives all of our sins,we are required to forgive others from the heart like Jesus does. When Peter asks if he should forgive someone up to seven times, Jesus answers, “Not seven times, but seventy-seven times,” meaning there is no limit to mercy. The lesson makes it clear that receiving God’s love and forgiveness is directly linked to our willingness to extend that same grace to those who hurt us. If one of your friends accidentally trips you, ruins your game, or makes your team loose accidentally, choose not to get angry or demand an apology. Instead, say, “It’s okay, don’t worry about it,” and keep playing.

  36. This Wednesday word is about change and it teaches us that Jesus will always be with us and forgive us. It also teaches us that we can change our minds and make the right decisions.

  37. The Gospel teaches me that I can change my mind and make a better choice.
If I do something wrong,I can sorry and try to do the right thing.

  38. This week’s Wednesday Word is change. In the Gospel, Jesus told a parable
about a man who had 2 sons. He came to the first son and told him to work in
their vineyard, but the son said no and later changed his mind. Then, the man
came to the second son and the second son replied to his father saying that he will work in the vineyard, but later didn’t. Then Jesus said to the people
“Which of these 2 sons did what their father wanted them to do?” Then the people who where listening to Jesus said “The first.”

  39. This weeks Wednesday word is CHANGE. Change means to make something or become different.
In the Gospel, Jesus told the Chief priests to think about a father and his two sons. Their father told the first son to go and work in the vineyard, but he said no. He later changed his mind and went. The father told the same thing to his second son and he said that he would go, but did not. He then asked the Priests and elders which one did the fathers will, and they said the first son. Then, Jesus asked them which one of the sons did the fathers will. They all said the first one. Then Jesus told them that outcasts would enter the Kingdom of Heaven before them as they didn’t change for the good like the first son.
In the Gospel, we learn that we should always change for the good, even if it is hard. We can do this by helping others, giving to charity and also other things like listening to your parents and doing your homework.

  40. This weeks word is CHANGE.
This means that we an change our decisions on what we said to someone and we can also say sorry if we hurt their feelings.

  41. This weeks Wednesday Word is CHANGE.
This means that if we don’t intend to hurt someone’s feelings, but we do, we must still say sorry in order to acknowledge their feelings. This also means to help you understand how people feel when we say certain things. We must all try are best to include everyone in everything and be as kind as possible as we all must be deep down.

  42. This week’s Wednesday Word is Change. Jesus wants us to have a better life and change our bad choices. Sometimes I do not want to share and it is not easy to change my mind but I do succeed sometimes.

  43. God sent us his messenger Jesus to help us spread the words of God and follow his footsteps. We can all be messengers for God if we act like Jesus told us being good examples.

  44. This week’s Wednesday Word is Messenger. It is very important to have messengers in our lives and be able to hear them so we make right decisions.

  45. This week’s Wednesday Word is messenger. I will be God’s messenger by sharing with others and making good choices.

  46. freddie wildman says:

so if i am giving money to. a sick person i am a messanger of. God. love , duty

  47. Alexander Y6 :D says:

This week’s Wednesday Word is MESSENGER. In the gospel story, Jesus tells the disciples a parable. In the parable, the owner of a vineyard rented his vineyard to tenant farmers whilst he was away. When the harvest season came, the owner sent his servants to collect fruit. The tenant farmers seized the servants and then the owner sent his son. He thought the farmers would respect him but they seized him then committed murder and killed the son.

To be a messenger of God, we can all play our part. We can go to Church, show kindness and spread the Word of the Lord.

  48. MasonYear 4 says:

Religious messenger delivers God’s messages to people. like my grandparents

  49. This week’s Wednesday word was MESSENGER!!!!! Jesus told a story about a landowner who planted a vineyard and rented it to some farmers. When the harvest came, he sent his servants to collect the fruit, but the farmers hurt them and refused to give them anything. The landowner then sent his son, thinking they would respect him, but the farmers killed him too. Jesus explained that the landowner would punish the farmers and give the vineyard to others who would look after it properly.
We learn that God gives us gifts and responsibilities, and we should use them well. We should listen to God’s messengers, respect others, and share what God has given us. We are also called to be messengers of God’s love through our words and actions. The farmers broke one of the ten commandments because he committed murder to the landowner’s son.

  50. This week’s Wednesday word is MESSENGER. In the gospel we hear about an owner of a vineyard who rented his vineyard to tenant farmers when he was away. When the time for harvest came, the owner sent his servant’s to collect the fruit. But the tenant farmers seized them and sent them away. He then sent his son thinking they would respect him but instead they seized him and killed him planning to take his inheritance.

We can be messengers of God by spreading his word and showing kindness and love for everyone.

  51. This week Wednesday’s word is Messanger.
Even if we are busy with our life, we need to remember that God has always plan for us and he is with us all the time.

  52. Guerlain Y5 and Givenchy Y3 says:

The Wednesday Word is Messenger. In the parable it talks about a father who planted a vineyard then rented it to a group of Tennent farmers. He then he sent his son to them thinking they would respect his son but instead, knowing his inheritance, they killed him. This means that God wants us to be kind to one another and gives us lots of responsibilities like the ten commandments to live in peace with one another and to show love and respect our neighbours.

  53. This weeks Wednesday word is MESSENGER. A messenger is someone or something who delivers something from one place to another. In the Gospel, Jesus was telling a parable about a Landowner who planted a vineyard and rented it to some farmers. When the time came, the Landowner sent some servants to collect the fruit, but the farmers seized them. When the Landowner’s son came, they did the same but also killed him. Then the Landowner did bad to the farmers, who were bad people.
I think that in this Gospel, the Landowner represents God, the son is Jesus, the servants represent prophets and apostles that came before Jesus and that the farmers are us humans.

  54. We are God‘s messengers today. My mum brings Jesus’ message to me. My favourite message from Jesus is ‘Love one another as I have loved you’.
