  1. Hi Miss Lee, do I have to write the answer in my yellow book?

  2. Hi Tijne, you can just reply to the blogs on here, save your yellow book for the writing tasks in your home learning pack and maybe some working out of maths tasks!
    🙂

  3. Self discipline means to stick to your task and never giving up.
If I practice trumpet every day, I will get way better.

  4. Great William! Can you add even more detail to your answer using some of the key words listed?

  5. Self-discipline means to me that you need to keep your promise. Like my promise is to be on time at hockey practice so I will not give up and I will try my hardest.

  6. Wonderful! Can you expand your answer using more of the key words?

  7. Self-discipline is used to learn how to be an adult. You have to use self-discipline to get a job, sometimes you do sacrifice. Also, if you regularly practice your hobby, you will get better.

  8. Self – discipline is the act of believing in one’s self and making effort in achieving one’s highest potential. Just like Jesus did when he had to walk 40 days and nights whilst fasting. That is why Easter is so important.

  9. Self-discipline makes you hesitate in options to choose. It makes you use your potential throughout your life by making your efforts to be at a higher level than normal. Throughout Lent, you have to have a lot of self-discipline because you have a Lenten promise to keep. You will turn to God a lot so, you will be closer to God and in Easter, you will reach your goal.
My goal is a long goal and it is to become a teacher ?‍?.
To do this I will have to do extra hours of work and work harder in class to have a better education.

  10. A great answer Stella!
Well done for linking in what we have discussed in class about Lent and being closer to God as we ask Him to give us strength to keep our Lenten promises.
It is also great to read about your goal, you will make a wonderful teacher!

  11. Thank you Miss Lee!
    ???☺️❤️?????

  12. Self-discipline is when you put your all and effort into something you want to achieve. In Lent we can use self-discipline by trying hard to keep our Lenten promises, and not letting anything distract us. In the Bible there is a story about how Jesus was tempted to do things against God’s word, but he didn’t let the Devil get in the way and he used self-discipline. The thing I want to achieve most is to be a writer and performer in the theatre ? or in movies ?, so I attend musical theatre class every Saturday and practice to reach my potential.

  13. A fantastic answer Lucy! I am sure you will reach your goal!

  14. To me self- discipline means to not argue with my mother and father, to think before I do things and to be on time to school.

I can use self- discipline in my life to reach one of my goals which is to become a maths teacher. To reach this goal I will have to stop myself from playing with my friends for a long time to practice my maths to improve.
