In year 2 we are learning about traditional tales. Today we worked in groups to look at different traditional tales to see if we could spot the repetitive language and ‘typical’ storybook language.
We looked at at:
Little Red Riding Hood.
Three Little Pigs.
Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
The Emperors new Clothes.
Beauty and the Beast
The Gingerbread Man.
All of these books started with’Once upon a time’ and had a moral or message to teach us too! We enjoyed remembering what the moral was in each story and are looking forward to writing our own version soon.Â
