This week has been Enterprise Week, and we’ve had lots of fun and exciting activities to enjoy!
In Nursery, we created our very own business called Merry Dough! We decided to make and sell our own fun playdough to the rest of the school but we wanted to make it extra special. So, we created Christmas-scented dough in orange, vanilla, and cinnamon fragrances.
At the start of the week, we used our fine motor skills to rip or cut tissue paper and collage it onto a bauble cut-out. We then stuck our company name, Merry Dough, in the middle. We even used a well-known Christmas song and changed the words to encourage the other children to buy our product!
We also created our very own order forms so that we could place orders with other classes and have them order from us too. It was very exciting to see the whole school working like real businesses!
During our Enterprise assembly, each class shared their adverts to encourage everyone to buy their products. It was wonderful to see all the hard work and creativity from across the school.
Our week was made even more special with exciting visits from parent speakers who told us all about their jobs, to family members who came in to help us make our products. It has been such a fun and memorable week!
