In Science we are learning about vertebrates.

A few weeks ago we learnt about invertebrates.

Can anyone remember what an invertebrate is?

Here is a video to remind you!

A vertebrate has a backbone

Watch this video to help you learn more!

There are lots of animals that are vertebrates, including humans because we have a skeleton inside our body. We can sort the vertebrates into groups!

Watch this video to help you learn more about mammals.

Watch this video to help you learn more about reptiles.

Watch this video to help you learn more about amphibians.

I would like you to sort these pictures into the 5 groups!

  1. Fish

  2. Birds

  3. Mammals

  4. Reptile

  5. Amphibians

You can print the document or you can draw the pictures and sort them in your home learning book.
