    Guided Practice

    1- Group A has fewer than group B.
    2- Group B has more than group A.

    Numbers in order are

    13,16,17.

    Guided Practice.

    1- 10 is less than 18
    2 a The greatest number is 19
    2b 11,13,19.
    3-19,14,9.

    45 and 54 are the SAME numbers but switched around.

    The number in 4th position is 50.

    Comparing using fewer or more.
    -Group A has (fewer) toy soldiers than group B.
    -Group B has (more) toy soldiers than group A.

    1.10 is less than 18.
    2a.The greatest number is 19.
    b.11,13,19.Numbers in order start with the smallest.
    3.19,14,9.Number start with the greatest.
    4.45,54 the same number.but it’s switched around.
    5.50 is the fourth position.

    Group D has 11 hens.

    I have coloured the bird holding 12.
    I have coloured the fruit with 20 on it.
    I have coloured the burger with 18 on it.
    I have coloured the sandwich with 4 on it.
    The smallest number is 13
    The greatest number is 18.

    45 and 54 there are the numbers 4 and 5 but 45 is smallest and 54 is greatest.

  10. I did it all. It was interesting, especially numbers starting with the smallest to the greatest. I also did more practicing with my dad.

    Here is my Math for today.

    Guide practice.
    a) Group A has less toy soldiers than group B.
    b) Group B has more toy soldiers than group A.

    1- 10 is less than 18.
    2- Compare 11, 12 and 13.
    a) The greatest number is 19.
    b) Arrange numbers in order.
    Start with the smallest.
    11. 13, 19
    3- Arrange 9, 19 and 14 in order.
    Start with the greatest.
    19,14,9
    What is the same? What is different?
    45,54. They have the same numbers but not the same value because 54 is bigger than 45.

    24,42,46,50,64
    Number 50 is in the fourth position.

    All done in Maths No Problem 103 -110.

    I did the exercises on pages 103-110 directly on my Maths No Problem Yellow book.
    Guided Practice in the blog:
    1) (a) Group A has fewer toy soldiers than Group B.
    (b) Group B has more toy soldiers than Group A.
    2) 10 is less than 18.
    3) (a) The greatest number is 19.
    (b) 11, 13, 19
    4) 19, 14, 9
    5) What’s the same and what’s different between 45 and 54?
    – Same: They both have the same numbers: 5 and 4.
    – Different: They are the wrong way around. They are not the same number. 54 is greater than 45 and 45 is smaller than 54.
    6) The number that will be in the fourth position is 50.

  16. Hi Miss Travers I enjoyEd the maths worksheets because I liked colouring in.
    10 is less than 18
    19 is the greatest
    11 13 19 smallest to largest
    45 and 54 have the same numbers but they are switched around
    50 is in 4th position
