  1. The highest total possible is 18 + 17 + 15 + 19 = 69
    The lowest total possible is 6 + 5 + 2 + 17 = 30

    The highest total possible for 5 joints is 20 + 18 + 13 + 17 + 18 = 86.
    The lowest total possible for 5 joints is 6 + 5 + 2 + 17 + 13 = 43.

    The highest score possible for 5 joints using only diagonals is 19 + 17 + 14 + 15 + 18 = 85.
    The lowest possible score for 5 joints using only diagonals is 8 + 13 + 2 + 6 + 2 = 31.
P.S. I loved the workout with Joe. ?️‍♂️

  2. The highest possible score that you can make with four numbers is 19+15+17+18=69 and the lowest is 6+5+2+17=30.

With five numbers the highest possible score is 20+18+13+17+18=86 and the lowest is 3+15+17+2+5=42

Diagonally joining five numbers the highest possible score is 18+15+14+17+19=83 and the lowest is 6+2+13+6+20=47

  3. Four numbers
    Lowest possible score is 2 5 6 17 = 30
    Highest possible score is 19 15 17 18 = 69

    Five numbers
    Lowest possible score is 5 2 17 15 3 = 42
    Highest possible score is 20 18 13 17 18 = 86

  4. Four numbers
    Lowest possible score 6 5 2 17 = 30
    Highest possible score 19 15 17 18 = 69

    Five numbers
    Lowest possible score 5 2 17 15 3 = 42
    Highest possible score 20 18 13 17 18 = 86

  5. Good Morning Mrs Avdiu! This morning, I was working on these questions and I think that the highest possible answer is 20+18+13+17 which equals 68. Also I think that the lowest possible answer could be 2+5+6+17 which equals 30. When i was adding 5 numbers, I chose 20+18+13+18+17 which equals 86. I started to add 5 numbers diagonally and the numbers that worked for me were 8+13+6+20+2 which equaled 49. Have a good day Mrs Avdiu!

  6. Hi! I hope you are all well.

19+15+17+18= 69= the highest possible number
    6+ 5+ 2+ 17=30= the lowest possible number

  7. Good afternoon! I hope your day has been good so far! These are the results I got for today’s maths task:

The highest possible score I got was 18+17+15+19= 69
The lowest possible score I got was 6+5+2+17= 30

The highest possible score for the five numbers I got 20+18+13+17+18=86
The lowest possible score for the five numbers I got
    3+15+17+2+5=42

For the highest five digit number using only diagonal lines I got the same result as Seb. 19+17+14+15+18=85

For the lowest five digit number using only diagonal lines I got 6+2+13+6+5= 32

  8. Jeanne Frich says:

    Five joints
The highest possible score is : 20+18+13+17+18=86
The lowest possible score is: 6+5+2+17+13=43

    Five joints (diagonals only)
    The highest possible score is:19+17+18+15+14=83
The lowest possible score is: 8+13+2+6+2=31

  9. Mrs Avdiu says:

Thank you all for explaining your working out. I will reveal the answer tomorrow!
