English Task – Grammar
Click here for a printable version of this task

Good morning everyone. It was SOOO lovely to chat with many of you yesterday, it really made my day! 🙂

Today’s focus is:
Grammar

Quick Recap:

Inverted commas show when someone is speaking. Inverted commas go at the start and at the end of the speech. “Can I come back to school?” asked Rosie.

Verbs are doing or being words. ‘They travel by car.’

Commas are used to separate items in a list. I play football, rugby, cricket and tennis. You need commas between all things in the list except the last two. You need to put ‘and’ or ‘or’ between the last two things.

Adjectives are words that tell us more about a noun. A red scarf.
