Good Morning Year 2!

Click here for a printable version of this blog post: English Wednesday printable

Well done for all your work on adjectives this week. Colours are really useful words to describe what something looks like. It adds a lot of detail and you can really picture it.

Practise these spelling words:

Which ones were easy to spell and which ones were tricky?

Please send in any photos of you making the words with something different. For a challenge, can you make them with something that is the same colour as the word?

If you want to practise these and other colour spellings, click here for some more games and activities.

When you’re practising your handwriting, remember to start and finish your letters in the right place, sit the letters on the line and remember which ones are tall and which ones hang below the line. There is a handwriting guide in your Home Learning Folders to help you if you need it. This BBC Bitesize page has helpful guides and videos to remind you how to form your letters correctly.
