In Reception class we have a timetable of all our activities.

In school;

  • At 9 o’clock we do Phonics
  • At 10 o’clock we have Literacy
  • At 11 o’clock we have Maths
  • At 12 0’clock we have lunch
  • At 1 o’clock we have play time
  • At 2 o’clock we have choosing time
  • At 3 o’ clock we get ready to go home

  1. My favourite times of the day are 12pm because it is lunchtime and 1pm because it is playtime.

    I go to bed at 8pm.

    I also like cuddles with my mum in the evening when I go to bed at 8pm.

  4. Good morning Miss Savage! I enjoyed doing the clock activities and song. I also did some practise on half past the hour but struggled with quarter past and quarter to, Mummy thinks they will take much more time to learn!
    Marcus did his own school timetable last week as Mummy was too slow to sort it! We’ll send a picture!

    My home ? school ? time table is more flexible than the normal time table at school, but usually it is
    At 9 o’clock PE with my family (and Joe Wicks on YouTube)
    At 9.45 it is writing time ✍️
    At 10 o’clock it is phonic time (I go on the school blog)
    At 10.45 it is maths time (1) ? (I go on the blog)
    At 11 o’clock it is playtime with my sister and my brother for 45 minutes.
    At 11.45 it is maths time (2) ?
    At 12.30 it is lunchtime ? and relaxing ?.
    At 1 o’clock it is documentary time with my sister and my brother. We watched documentaries on volcanoes ?, how chocolate ? is made, the life of octopus ? and others.
    At 1.30 it is reading time and other activities.
    At 3 o’clock it is the end and free time.

  10. Good Morning, Ruby-Mae favourite time is 8am because she eat her breakfast . Ruby-Mae was able to read the clock.

  11. I enjoyed learning to tell the time.

    My favourite time at school is 9 o’clock when we do phonics and 1 o’clock when we have playtime.

    Well done, everyone. You are all very good at talking about times. It sounds like you are all working hard but having fun as well at different times of the day. Usually I get up at 5 o’clock in the morning to come to school but at the moment I don’t get up until 8 o’clock. That’s three extra hours in bed!

  15. Rocco wakes up at 7 and has breakfast and play .
    He does PE with mummy at 9
    At 10 we do some maths
    At 11 he has a break
    Then we do some Blog work or phonics/writing/reading
    Lunch and play is 12.30 -2
    Then we do some more work from 2-3
    Then its fun and bike rides until dinner and bed at 8
    Tonight he is staying up a little late so he can stand on the doorstep clap the NHS ❤️

  16. My home school timetable is more flexible but it usually looks like this:

    9 o’clock – PE
    10 o’clock – phonics & writing
    11 o’clock – maths/numbers
    12 o’clock lunch
    1 o’clock art/fun learning
    2 o’clock computing – busy things (my favourite)
    3 o’clock finish

    Florence wrote herself an afternoon timetable. This included TV, Easter decorating, and Easter hunt and playing with Mummy. Looks like we are going to be very busy.

    I love the song too but now it’s stuck in my head and I can’t stop singing it! It really helps with learning how to tell the time though. I loved hearing about your timetables, Reception. You are all very busy.

  20. At 8 o’clock we have breakfast with milk, bread and butter and jam
    At 8:30 o’clock we watch TV
    At 9 o’clock we get dress
    At 9:15 o’clock we do start the homework, maths, English, reading…
    At 12:30’clock we have lunch
    At 1 o’clock we have play time
    At 2 o’clock we work again… a lot…
    At 4 o’ clock we play in the garden
    At 6 o’ clock we have our bath
    At 7 o’clock we have dinner
    At 7:30 o’clock I brush my teeth
    At 8:00 o’clock I go to bed and read a book

  21. I like 12 o’clock it’s my favourite time because I like eating lunch, especially when it’s fish and chips.

  22. At school, my favourite time of day is 1pm (playtime).
    We made a timetable but my baby sister cries a lot and wants lots of cuddles so every day is a little bit different. We try to do it like this:
    9am PE with Joe Wicks
    10am Blog work (maths & phonics)
    12pm Lunch
    3pm Exercise
    4pm Reading & a slice of cake
    5pm Arts/Crafts/making a cake/fun learning
    6pm Dinner
    At 8pm tonight we are clapping for the NHS for all the hard work they are doing.
