The magic flute and don Giovanni.

The music makes me feel calm happy and peaceful. The instruments I can here are a piano, violin, trumpet and cello.

  6. My favourite opera by Mozart is The Magic Flute, Gabriella. It is the story of Prince Tamino’s quest to rescue Princess Pamina. My favourite part is the first aria by the Queen of the Night (she is quite scary) but I also like the duet between Papageno, the birdcatcher, and his Papagena.

  7. Ms Rosellini says:

  8. Mozart wrote over 600 works during his lifetime, and he lived only 35 years!

When I was listening to a piece of his music I felt like it was telling me a story that might have been happy, energetic and full of changes and turns, like playing hide and seek.

A flute belongs to the woodwind family of instruments, can be about two feet long and it can be made of silver or gold!

  11. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
    ————————————-
Date of birth: born January 27 , 1756 in Salzburg, Austria

    Nationality: Austrian

    Style period : Classical 1750- 1820.

Death: December 5, 1791 in Salzburg, Austria age of 35

Mozart travelled all over Europe and since he constantly travelled he learnt fifteen more languages on the way. He wrote his first piece of music for the piano when he was four and made his own opera when he was only 12!
One night a mysterious stranger came to the door and hired Mozart to quickly write a piece of music for him. Mozart was already ill and he was convinced he was writing music for his own funeral!
During his lifetime, Mozart was very well known for his music and got a lot of money but he spent a lot of his money. He was very poor after then and when he died of kidney failure at the age of 35 he was buried in an unmarked grave.
Mozart was considered by most people that he was the greatest composer that has ever lived. While most composers are good at one set of music, Mozart could do all of them – vocal music, concertos, chamber, symphony, sonatas and opera.

In the first piece of music Eine Kleine Nachtmusik I imagined squirrels chasing each other. In the next piece of music I imagined swans gracefully swaying side to side on the water. In the third piece of music I imagined the queens palace and soldiers guarding the palace.

  12. Miss Jones says:

His full name was Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart
Instruments played : violin and fortepiano
He started to compose from the age of 5.

  17. Christened Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart, he was born on January 27, 1756, in Salzburg, in what is now Austria( Catholic).
His father, Leopold Mozart was a native of Germany and he also composed music, but was primarily a musician for the Prince Archbishop of Salzburg and pedagogue.
When just three-years-old, Mozart would listen to his sister’s instruction on the clavier (a string keyboard instrument like the harpsichord or the piano), and begin to strike thirds, being delighted with the blending of pitches.
Mozart began his training at the age of five and could play the clavier faultlessly, and had already begun composing small snippets of music by that time. His father was his teacher, instructing him in languages and other academic areas,.
His parents had six children, but only he and his eldest sister, Maria Anna, nicknamed “Nannerl” survived infancy.
He composed over 600 works that are cataloged in the “Kochel”. His earliest works, K. 1-5 were written in childhood, and continue to his unfinished Requiem, which is number K. 626.
From the time he was seven (1762), he began traveling with his father (and family) to perform in various locations around Europe ( Vienna and Prague, as well as Courts in Munich, Paris, and London).
His first symphony was written when he was only eight-years-old.

He was awarded the Order of the Golden Spur (a papal order of knighthood, bestowed on individuals who have contributed to the fame of the Church) by Pope Clement XIV in 1770, for his many religious compositions.
During his final year of life (1791), he was on the road to personal recovery and very productive until his illness started. No one is actually sure of the exact cause of his untimely death.

Joseph Haydn once told Mozart’s father, “I tell you before God, and as an honest man, your son is the greatest composer known to me by person and repute, he has taste and what is more the greatest skill in composition.”
