Good Morning, Nursery.

I hope that you all had a lovely weekend.

We are focussing on the sound ‘g’.

Today’s Phonics task:  Practice making the ‘g’ action and saying, ‘g g g g g.’

Go on a hunt in your house for things that begin with a ‘g’ sound.  Practice saying them like this g g g goat. Can you hear and say the beginning sound of the objects that you have found?

Practice writing the letter ‘g’ in the air and on the table with your finger.  You can also write the letter on your laminated card using a whiteboard pen or on paper using pen, crayons, paint or pencil.

I can’t wait to hear about all of the things that you found in your house that begin with the g sound.

Love from Miss Siswick

PRINTABLE VERSION:N Phonics Monday

It would really help me if you could upload photos  straight to the media file (instructions are here: sharing photos and files) as they get to me more quickly and easily as they don’t have to go via the office and my e-mail. Please can either your child’s name or face (but not both) be visible on any photos. Many thanks.
