Good Morning, Nursery.

I loved hearing all of your ideas about different pieces of Music on our last Music Blog.

Today’s blog is all about singing.

In the Nursery, we love to sing! We sing all day long in the classroom, we sing in assembly and in Mass and we have Singing and Music with Mr Rees every week.

For our new topics, we always learn new songs.  Here is a new minibeasts song to learn at home:

Go to today’s Phonics blog to learn the songs ‘Wiggly Woo’ and ‘Two little caterpillars’.

Go to Tuesday’s topic blog to learn the song ‘There’s a tiny caterpillar on a leaf’.

Which minibeasts song did you like best and why?

Have fun singing new minibeast songs today. Maybe you could make up your own actions or even your own minibeast song.

If you would  to learn more songs, Miss Coleman has added lots of great links here.

Love from Miss Siswick. (I will be teaching at school so I will not be able to respond until  later today.)

It would really help me if you could upload photos  straight to the media file (instructions are here: sharing photos and files) as they get to me more quickly and easily as they don’t have to go via the office and my e-mail. Please can either your child’s name or face (but not both) be visible on any photos. Many thanks.

  1. Grace likes the song from Tuesday the best “The Tiny Caterpillar”. She said she knows it already – I think she’s thinking of “She’ll be coming round the mountain”. She’s having a sing-song now!
We’ll try making our own song…..

  2. Miss Siswick says:

I think that might be my favourite too, Grace. I am singing it in my head now!

  3. Hello,
