Now that we have learnt all our Phase three Phonic sounds we can start to revise them.

Start by reading all the Phase Two and Phase Three sounds and tricky words out loud.

 

Today we will revise the ‘j’ sound.

    James was able to spell and write the two words without help. We were impressed!

    His reading has also improved.

  2. Loved the song, we managed to read all the words and the sentences.
    Philippa said Miss Savage has a special pen to write on the board, she misses school and her friends and teachers.
    We will try writing the words in the white board with a normal pen instead.

  15. Hi teachers, I have done my Phonics “J” and I was quite good at it. I wrote the sentences:
    The jam jar has lots of jam.
    The boy is jumping quite high.
    This is the first time I’ve typed sentences all by myself!
    Mum comment: He needed help with “quite”! And needs to learn touch typing or these blog posts are going to take all day!

    I can write and spell “jam” and “jump” by myself. (My mother does not let me type as I am too slow or have sticky fingers).
