Good Morning, Reception.

Yesterday, we were practicing using positional language to say where we were. Today, we are going to solve a maths problem using positional language.

Here is the positional language that we were using:

Todays task: Can you solve the puzzle? All of the clues are all about one picture. Can you work out which picture it is?

Challenge: Choose one of the pictures but don’t say which it is. Ask an adult to ask you the questions and answer “yes” or “no” to their questions.  See if they guess which picture you have chosen.

    This morning I really enjoyed playing guesses to describe and find the pictures!

  4. We thoroughly enjoyed doing this. Mummy and Amber played together. We both guessed each other using positional language to explain. On one occasion, I was surprised that Amber guessed right even though she hadn’t asked if the mouse was next to the ball. Amber just wants to keep playing this game. ‘I love this game’

    Thank you for this fun activity. We solved the puzzle, it is the top picture on the left hand side, however we are not sure if the cat is called Pushkin.
    We also had fun choosing a picture and asking questions to find clues.
