THIS TERM WE WILL DIVE INTO THE GEOGRAPHY OF EUROPE!

Did you know that Europe is the second smallest continent? It lies between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and includes 45 countries!

In class, we will practice our map skills as we locate the countries of Europe, use a compass, and find the latitudes and longitudes of countries! We will also learn about the environmental regions, key physical and human characteristics, counties and major cities across Europe. We will even learn about the four stages of the water cycle.

I would love to know what you already know about Europe.

Do you know anything about the River Danube?

When was the EU formed and why?

How can we use a compass to navigate across Europe?
