In your home learning packs you had some writing tasks. If you have completed any of the writing tasks so far I would like to see them!
Please could you type out your writing and put it in the comments box below!

- Reading back your work to check that it makes sense!
The Little Boat. By Isabella Manning
(writing task completed on 23/03 in my book)
I was sailing gently in the calm, blue sea and then it started to rain! After it rained some grey fog appeared. It started to get icy and cold. It was freezing!
Some brown, cheeky monkeys jumped on me and then they fell off into the water. It became dark and starry. It started to get light again and the deers appeared. Lots of birds came and made a hole in my sail.
After I was sailing calmly and I knocked a ladies top off of her washing line! Then I was sailing quietly and I bumped into an Island.
On the Island there was a man in a tree. He jumped on means then a bomb hit me and made more holes in me than before!!! It became all foggy and dark. The Moon was shinning and it was all black and then there was a blizzard!!! It was icy cold and freezing. I became more and more broken than I was before. Later some fish came and splashed around. Two waves came and broke my sail and there was a humongous storm with lightning and enormous waves! I was completely broken now. It went completely dark.
I kept on sailing and the ladies top that I knocked off her washing line, she gave it to me! the two cheeky monkeys that jumped on me earlier gave me a sign to fix me. The soldiers also gave me a flag to fix me.
Finally I was fixed. I tipped over and turned red again.

When I watched the movie again I heard the sound of a bath plug and water going down the plug hole and I realised that the story was in someone’s imagination.
Wow well done Isabella! That is super writing!! You have used capital letters, full stops and adjectives! Well done!
I was sailing across the nice and calm blue water.
Suddenly two naughty monkeys jumped on me.
I was sailing across the shimmering water then suddenly soldiers shot my boat then I had holes in my sail. I began to cry. I then noticed that I was dirty and wet. I was broken but a turtle fixed my sail and one of the soldiers fixed my boat, then I was to normal.

Extension work:
1. I like zob the best, he looks cool and funny.
2. Do the dishes, do the laundry, put the rubbish out, clean my bedroom.

4. My robot is Bob. He makes the house messy. He puts tire tracks all over the place even on the ceiling.
He eats all the food from the fridge and cupboard too.

Writing Task 4:
I chose a photo of when I was at nursery at Micky Star, 4 years ago. I changed because when I was little I couldn’t run. But now I can. I couldn’t do a cart wheel but now I can. I couldn’t throw myself on the swing but now I can. But above all, when I was toddler, I wouldn’t have been able to write this piece of writing!
Writing Task 3:
Baby Bear found a helmet and a rocket and some space boots. Before Baby Bear went to space, he looked at the lovely blue shining sky. Then Baby Bear went out in the shining night. Baby Bear saw a fluffy friendly owl. Baby Bear had a picnic on the moon. It was quite a nice time. Then Baby Bear came back with a bump. Mummy Bear washed him and he was then all clean. The owl went back to his tree house. The end.
You have done lots of writing! Well done Gabrielle!

I was sailing on the calm sea. Some birds fly past. It’s started to storm. I can see some grey clouds and then it starts to rain. Some rubbish is in the sea. Two monkeys jump on me. It is night. The cricket were making lots of noise. Some birds made lots of holes in me. I saw a boy in a tree. There was a bomb. A girl put a shirt on my sail. The soldiers gave me a flag and the birds put a string on the boat and gave me a tire to float. The end

I was sailing along and the snow is falling. Suddenly it got darker and darker and then , there was a snowstorm. I could not see! Big waves came over me and I got more and more broken. I kept
on sailing until I got help. A lady gave me one of her clothes to fix me, then the 2 monkeys saw me and helped me as well. I kept on sailing , then I heard gunshots again, but this time I did get shot. The soldiers put a flag on me then the flocks of birds helped me to fix it so I can continue my journey.

Dear Baby Bear,
I had a dream that you were having a picnic on the moon with an owl who you met on the moon. I’ve been visiting my friends. I’ve been missing you for stories.
Have you seen any aliens? It takes three days to get to the moon, so remember to get home for Easter, Baby Bear.

Ive been looking at the moon and I saw you , my dream has come true. I hope you are brushing your teeth
People think the moon is made of cheese, is it?

Tom is going down the stairs. Tom is making breakfast fro his mum. He is making tea with milk. He is going up the stairs with breakfast in his hand. On his way to his mum, Tom trips over and it splashes everywhere!

Dear Baby bear,
While you were on the moon I went to the swimming pool and I baked cookies for you. I went to an ice cream shop and I had a vanilla ice cream and chocolate ice cream and a cup cake. I went to Mars when you were on the white, soft and fluffy moon. On Mars I met my friends. I can’t wait until you come back. Love From Mummy Bear

Writing Task 3: The Story of ‘Whatever Next’
Baby bear asked mummy bear if he can go to the moon. But she said he needs a spacecraft. Baby bear found a helmet and he wore his yellow boots to go to the moon. Then Baby bear made a rocket from cardboard box and flashed to the moon. When Baby bear was off to the moon he met an owl who also joined him. After they reached the moon they had a picnic together. It was time to go back home, so Baby bear said goodbye to the owl. Baby bear fell back down into the chimney and out of the fireplace. In the end, Mummy bear gave Baby bear a bath because he had dirt on his face and body.

I was sailing so calmly. But suddenly a huge flock of birds came and they did a hole in my sail. Then It was night time. And the stars were shining and they were moving. And all was peaceful again. After that it was the morning. I heard the wind blowing brrrr. It’s very cold. Then i arrived at a desert a soldier jumped on me, and shooed me. I was brave and I carried my journey. Then two teeny tiny monkeys gently jumped on me :I was frightened. A little bit later everyone came and fixed me. The end. ?
