Today we are going to look at another BIG QUESTION for our superhero topic.

Remember that you will probably have to do some thinking, talking and maybe even researching to come up with your answer.

Who are your top three heroes of all time?

There are so many people who have done wonderful things in the world, but today I just want your top three!

Things for you to consider:

  • *They could be someone you know, or someone famous you have heard about.
  • *What have they done to make them a hero?
  • *Why do they get a place in your top three list?!
  • *Why are they important to you?
  • *What qualities do they have that you admire?

One of my heroes is Mother Teresa. I think she is so amazing to give up her whole life to look after other people: she is inspirational to us all! I would find it very hard to leave my home, my family and my friends but she thought that looking after others was more important. I think she is very self-sacrificing and puts the needs of others before herself, living exactly as Jesus wants us to.

I can’t wait to read who your top three heroes are!

Madeleine’s heroes

Look what they discovered on a walk around Marylebone! Mary Seacole lived on George Street. How exciting to have a superhero who lived so close to our school.

I loved learning about Malala. She is a girl from Pakistan who loved learning and going to school. When a group of armed men called Teliban took control of her village they didn’t allow girls to go to school. She thought this was unfair and she wrote about in a blog. She was shot by them but didn’t die. She is a hero because she stood by what she believed even though it was dangerous.
