thFCN07R1HOur new topic is ‘Traditional Tales.’ We have been enjoying reading lots of traditional tales and playing with puppets in the book corner. We have also been hearing lots of different traditional tales at story times. Can you tell us about your favourite traditional tale? We would love to hear about some traditional tales from other countries as well.

My favourite traditional tale is a German story about the town musicians of Bremen who are a dog, a cat, a cockerel and a donkey. It is a funny story and it has a happy ending because they trick some robbers into thinking they are a monster by all standing on each others backs! http://static.panoramio.com/photos/large/42692446.jpg

  2. My favourite traditional tale is Beauty and the Beast because Belle has a lovely yellow dress with pink flowers on it.

My favourite tales are Snow White and Cinderella. In fact, I love all the tales with princesses. Like Orla, I love their beautiful dresses and pink accessories!

  4. I like Little Red Riding Hood. I like the wolf. I painted the wolf at school. A different book I like is Stone Soup. I liked the stone. Another tale I like is Three Little Pigs because it’s got the wolf in it.
