Takeover Day is a celebration of children and young people’s contributions to museums, galleries, arts organisations, archives and heritage sites. It’s a day on which they are given meaningful roles, working alongside staff and volunteers to participate in the life of the museum.

This year Takeover Day was on Friday 17th November and the St. Vincent’s Year 4 Class were very privileged to ‘takeover’ the Wallace Collection. They had the opportunity to welcome visitors, work in the shop, make announcement  on the tannoy, guide visitors and help to look after some of the items in the collection. It was a fun and informative day!
