As part of our role as School Council representatives, we also help promote and celebrate reading across the school.
Today in our meeting, we had the important job of sorting out lots of books! We are always getting new books at school and it is important that each class library has books that the children in that class will enjoy reading. We sorted all the books into the different classes and then delivered them to each book corner. We hope everyone enjoys their new books!
We love books because they increase our imagination and help us to build our vocabulary which we can use in our writing, as well as being very good for our mental wellbeing.
We are very grateful for all the resources that the school purchases.
