This afternoon we had two big challenges to complete.

The first was the very high climbing wall. It was even higher than the Gladiator challenge and we had to follow the coloured path to get as high as we could. We thought that would be the hard bit, but the biggest challenge was abseiling down!

Our next task was the challenge course. This is where we work as a whole team to get through an obstacle course. The challenge for the teachers is that they are not allowed to give us any help or clues! After a few mistakes, we worked out what to do and managed to complete it.

As a reward for completing this challenges, Miss Siswick made us all a delicious cup of hot chocolate!

We’ve had very busy days so it was nice to then have some free time to finish off our letters to our parents and to play in the field. Another school arrived today, which at first we didn’t like but then we had a lot of fun playing a big game of football with them.

After dinner, we headed into the woods for our night walk! We had to use torches to find the reflective squares in the woods to find our path. We sat in the dark and listened to all the different sounds in the woods.

After another busy day, we were all very ready for bed (although, the teachers always seem more excited for bed than the children!)
