We have had a lovely day of snowy fun!

We made the most of the learning opportunities that snow can offer! We played in the snow and left containers and buckets outside to see how much snow we could collect! We also observed the snow through magnifying glasses and wondered what would happen to the snow if the sun came out.

We  researched animals that live in the snow and the weather conditions in the Artic and Antarctica. We wrote a letter to a snowman who had lost his scarf and hat and we researched Igloos. In the afternoon we made some snowy pictures using different media!

Have a look at the photos! from today, including some of the brilliant drama workshop this morning!
