Over the last three years, we have worked with an organisation called Achievement for All (AFA). AFA is a school/home based programme that is designed to support identified children. The programme is not a simple ‘catch up’ intervention program but looks at how, in partnership with parents, we can support children in English and Maths, along with valuing any extra-curricular activities children participate in.
Our participation in the programme was recently reviewed by the AFA Deputy Regional Lead and we are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Achievement for All Quality Mark. We are pleased that our strong relationships with families and successful pupil achievement have been externally validated and we are excited to roll out the programme to support others.
