We’ve started our topic this week by using maps to locate the countries of North and South America. We also began to locate the major cities in North and South America as well as the 50 states of America. As we started to mark on
key mountain ranges, rivers, other countries and cities, we realised how different they were to each other as well as to the UK.
Next week we will be exploring the key physical and human characteristics of North and South America where we will focus on comparing Alaska to Rio de Janeiro! Do you know anything about these places already?
