I’m sure many of have all enjoyed a restful Christmas and spending time with friends and family. Many children will have enjoyed new games and online activities during the holidays. Please check that you know what your children are playing in your house and when they play at other houses. There are many resources available to help you understand the benefits and potential disadvantages to each game.

Search for games on Common Sense Media to check that the age rating is appropriate and discuss with your children why it might have that rating.

Roblox is a very popular game at the moment and there is some advice for parents here.

The internet is a wonderful resource and I am sure your children enjoy taking part in a range of activities online. Please keep the conversations going about what they are doing and rules for staying safe, but also remind them that it is meant to be safe and fun!
