Green Team are organising an exciting sponsored event called ‘Animal Athletics’, which will take place next week. On Monday February 5th (Year 6 and Year 2) or Thursday February 8th (Foundation Stage and Years 1,3,4,5) during St Vincent’s World Week, all the children will attempt an athletics circuit with lots of different animal-themed activities, aiming to complete the course as many times as possible during a set time. We are raising money for the WE charity. This charity supports some of the 61 million primary-aged children in the world who cannot attend school, by paying for school lunches, clean drinking water, school uniforms and other supplies.
Sponsor forms were sent home earlier this week and more copies are available from the School Office. All sponsor money and forms should be returned to school after the Half Term break and we hope to present the money raised to the WE charity shortly afterwards.
