Last week, Year 5 were lucky enough to go on a walking tour around the local area to discover more about the big, beautiful buildings that reside in Marylebone. We walked over to Asia House where we entered a building filled with huge, bright rooms, grand chandeliers, amazing art work and windows taller than you can imagine. Class 5 really enjoyed sketching different areas of one of the rooms which included detailed ceiling decorations, a carved fireplace and views of London streets.

After we left Asia House, we walked towards an empty plinth in a small green area of Marylebone. Class 5 put their architectural caps on and designed a statute that they thought would complete the structure.
