It is Art Week!
Reception were so lucky to take part in an Art Workshop, led by the art teacher at Queen’s College.
We learnt all about how to mix different colours together, to create new colours! It was so fun and interesting to see new colours appear. Reception listened beautifully to Mr Allen, and were so sensible. They used palettes to mix the colours together, then transferred these colours onto their page.
We had a great time practicing our colour mixing, ready to create a fantastic class art piece. Reception felt like real artists, using different colours and paintbrushes to create a whole new paint palette.
