The Capoeira School (Centro Cultural Senzala de Capoeira) held their Batizado (grading) at St Vincent’s today.
It was a wonderful opportunity to meet, train with and learn from Capoeira masters. Parents and carers watched their children take part in the grading and also learned more about Capoeira and Brazilian culture.
Well done to all of the children who took part in the grading and earned their first or next Capoeira belt today. It was lovely to see our Year Sixes (who have been learning Capoeira since they were in Reception!) achieve their final belt at St.Vincent’s.
We loved watching you all show what you have learned and think that you all did a fabulous job.
