This week, children in class three have been finalising their fantastic clay cartouche sculptures. They carved their names in hieroglyphics and to finish, used metallic paint to cover them. They learnt lots of sculpting skills and how adding a little amount of water can create a smooth polished effect. We hope to see some real ancient cartouches next week when we visit the British Museum!
