In the Nursery we have really enjoyed our ‘Myself’ topic. We learned that God knows everybody’s name, God loves everyone and that everyone is special to God. We loved reading about how our parents chose our names and looking at our baby photos. We joined in with prayers, listened to psalms, decorated our names with glitter and made collages using our baby photos.
Thank you to the parents for all of the photos and questionnaires, They really helped the children to become involved and understand the topic.
Our new topic is ‘Welcome’ where we will learn about being welcomed to God’s family through Baptism. The children have brought home a questionnaire today and here is a copy for your information. inf baptism sheet parents
Please can you tell your child about their Baptism, show them some photos, their special candle and anything else from their Baptism. Please could they bring in a photo and any special objects and this questionnaire into school next week to show all their friends and put on the prayer table. We promise we will take very good care of them. Thank you!
