In Green Team we love being closer to nature and today we achieved this by planting crocus corms in the Foundation Stage growing area. Thank you to Mr Normunds for helping us.

The crocus corms were kindly donated by the The Rotary Club of Marylebone  as part of their END POLIO NOW campaign. Rotary International is dedicated to the world wide eradication of polio. Purple Crocuses are the symbol of the End Polio Now campaign because each person receiving polio drops is given a purple mark on their finger to show they have been immunised.

We can’t wait until the crocuses grow and we are looking forward to checking them every week during our meetings.
