In our Personal, Social and Emotional Development lesson this week Nursery were talking about computer safety! We did this by looking at the story of ‘Smartie and the Penguin’. We first brainstormed different things that we know or watch on computers, tablets or phones. Nursery talked about Peppa Pig, the Gruffalo, YouTube and Lego.
The story was about a penguin names Smartie who got a special present for his birthday- it was a tablet! This story spoke about how we can use the Internet to search things and play games but we have to be careful that if something scary or something that we don’t know pops up we tell a grown up straight away.
