This week in Reception we have been busy exploring numbers and practising our counting skills.
We have worked on… Counting verbally up to 10 Counting objects by saying the numbers in order and matching one number name to each object Recognising numbers up to 10
We had fun using the indoor and outdoor environment to practise these skills!

Learning maths is very important and I can see that you all having lots of fun and learning too! Great job reception!
I liked counting because it is my favourite thing. We worked really hard and it was lots of fun. We counted to 10 and my brother is 10 years old.
Learning to count must have been so much fun 🤩. Maths is an important subject and learning maths must have been amazing.
