This half term Year 4 have been developing their football skills in P.E!

We really enjoy trying out new warm up activities and playing quick games to raise our heart beats, warm up our muscles and get us ready to begin.

In week 5 we learnt how to track an opponent using the inside and outside hook technique.

We aimed to dribble the ball and keep possession of it from one side of the court to the other, as our partner tried to intercept us.

This was really fun and a great way for the class to learn how to move into space to defend the ball from attackers!

For our cool down activities we had a mini relay race! The winners from each team then participated in the final race to see who would come out on top.

Finally, we had a class game of duck, duck, goose and even the teachers joined in.

Well done Year 4 for being so enthusiastic in our P.E lessons!

Looks like lots of fun and a great way to exercise. My favourite game was always duck, duck, goose when I was younger!
