Everyone at St Vincent’s has enjoy World Week this year.

We have used this week to focus on ourselves and our communities around us.

Following the Children’s Mental Health Week theme of Growing Together, children were able to spend time reflecting on their own goals and achievements. All children took part in activities to consider the steps they want to take and how we can support each other to grow together. We considered how we interact with the world on Safer Internet Day, with special workshops, lessons and assemblies on the theme of exploring respect and relationships when we are online.

Today we celebrated the rich diversity of languages, countries and cultures of our school family.

Everyone was invited to come to school dressed in clothes from their home country or in the colours of their flag. We all speak English at school but many of us speak other languages at home. We all live in Great Britain but our families and friends come from all over the world. It is wonderful to see where we all come from and celebrate that we are part of one school family.

All the classes have put together this special assembly to celebrate our school family. We hope you enjoy it.
