The Irish Dancing club have  lessons with Ellie Maguire from the Maguire O’Shea Academy of Irish Dance who has been teaching Irish Dancing at our school for many years.

Ellie was so impressed with how hard the children have all worked this term  that she awarded everyone a special Maguire O’Shea medal and asked if we could film a performance for everyone to see their achievements. We hope you enjoy it.

Irish Dancing will start again next term. See you there!

Well done to all our Irish dancers- you are so good! It has been wonderful to welcome Ellie back to our school this term and to give our pupils the opportunity to learn from a world champion. I think these are the first of many medals for you all!
Thank you also to Miss Siswick for making this video so we can share the brilliant dancing with all of our St. Vincent’s family.

  2. well done for all your dancing !!!

  3. Well done to the Irish Dancing Club and Ellie. I loved watching your performance so much that I have watched the video three times already! I can’t believe that you have learned so much in such a short time but as I have even seen you practising on the roof during break time I am not surprised at what good dancers you are. Thank you to all of you, Ellie and Miss Siswick for filming.
