Today, Martin, from Mini First Aid, taught us all about first aid including:

  1. What to do if we see someone is unresponsive
  2. How to do CPR if the person is not breathing
  3. How to place someone into the recovery position if they are breathing
  4. How to help someone who is choking
  5. How to use an epi-pen when someone has a severe allergic reaction

We were able to use dummies for the CPR, each other for the choking and recovery position, and we practised the epi-pens on ourselves. Thank you so much to Martin for helping us today because it’s so important to know how to respond in an emergency!
