In Maths we have been learning how to partition numbers into tens and ones. We have been using dienes blocks and cubes to help us. We have worked so hard in our Maths No Problem books we decided it was time to take on a problem solving challenge.

We used just 6 counters to make all the different number combinations. We worked with our partner and then recorded the numbers. Next we decided to draw the counters in our books and write the numbers. We are trying to write one number per square.

Well done for your brilliant problem solving skills Year 1!
