In Maths in Year 6, we are always trying to consolidate our understanding of Maths concepts by explaining our answers and our reasoning to others.

Today, we worked with our learning partners on a tricky Fractions challenge that involved understanding equivalent fractions, improper fractions and mixed numbers as well as reading a problem solving question carefully.

It was a tricky challenge and we needed to use our learning powers of resilience to keep on trying out different strategies and also practice reciprocity when working with our learning partners.

Well done, Year 6. Keep up the hard work!

  1. I found this exercise challenging but later on I found it easy. It was very good. All you have to do is simplify it and then put it in their groups . It was nice and I will like to do it more often.
