As our current topic is traditional tales, Nursery practiced their counting using the houses made by the Three Little Pigs! The task was to see how many numbers the children could recognise, and then count the 5 stick houses, the 8 brick houses and the 10 straw houses!
Nursery did so well at their 1:1 correspondence, touching each house as they counted. It has been so fun to immerse our maths learning within our topic, and Nursery were keen to see how many of the three little pigs houses hadn’t been blown down by the big bad wolf!
